Here at Toi Tangata Māori Art Gallery we specialize in art for the NEXT GENERATION ART COLLECTOR and this month we are thrilled to WELCOME one of youngest up and coming artists to watch, NERYS BAKER of the Rangitāne and Ngāti Kahungunu tribes.
Nerys has spent time growing up in both Aotearoa and Wales. She has a background in graffiti which you can see in her fresh works, and we are proud to now have three of her works available for you to purchase now!

We are currently putting together a group exhibition of Toi Tangata Māori Art Gallery artists called 'MĀORI MODERN' due to open in Perth, Western Australia on Saturday 6th January 2018.
We are very excited about this opportunity to present some of the coolest, most cutting edge and fresh work currently coming out of Aotearoa New Zealand to our Perth audience!

Toi Tangata Māori Art Gallery in association with Karanga Ink and Art + Body Creative, recently ran a successful Māori Art + Music Salon in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The evening was well attended and a lot of great discussion was had.
We would like to extend a big THANK YOU to everyone that came along to this event, purchased tickets, asked questions, listened to the spoken word poetry, and participated in this fun and informative evening.
THANK YOU also to Manifacto Amsterdam for hosting this event in their gallery space.
We look forward to running more Māori Art + Music Salons in future at different locations around the world.

The first Toi Tangata Māori Art Gallery pop up exhibition is now on until 31st January 2017, opposite the cafe inside the Pātaka Art + Museum complex at 17 Parumoana Street, Porirua, Wellington, New Zealand.
Open 10AM - 4PM Tuesday - Saturday.
Māori tattoo (tā moko) bookings are also available in the gallery space with Taryn Beri.
